Who We’re Looking For
The purpose of this position is to serve as a first level of support for customers/outsourcers to resolve issues of a technical nature. Provide support for the application and provide prompt resolution.
Location: Hyderabad/Secunderabad, Bangalore/Bengaluru
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in computer science, electronics or telecommunication
- 2-4 years of relevant professional experience in the areas of application support & problem management
- At least 2 years of strong experience in Unix environment and advanced SQL commands
- At least 1 year experience in managing releases and maintenances
- Prior experience in Telecom Operations will be an added advantage
Who We’re Looking For
- This position will address day-to-day customer issues, application issues, problems and concerns that are of a more detailed nature requiring analysis and research.
- Experience in Unix environment and advanced SQL commands .
- Willing to learn new technologies such as AWS,Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ,Hadoop,Kafka,Kudu
- Champion of connectivity interacts with Developers, Product, DEV/OPS and Implementation managers
Some of What You’ll Do
Major Responsibility 1:
- Work in 24/7 rotational shifts
- Application health monitoring that includes file processing, data loading, completion of scheduled tasks, report generation, application related processes, dashboards and application logs
- Service ticket queue and request handling within KPI thresholds
- Release testing & installations
- Perform User Acceptance Test’s in the UAT/production environment’s and perform relevant error research
- Identify recurring issues and fix them
Major Responsibility 2:
- Work with Development to review and approve new features
- Support for Security patches
- Documentation on the newly discovered solutions
Major Responsibility 3:
- Participate in the new initiatives for providing technical solutions
- Crisis management and crisis bridge facilitation
Major Responsibility 4:
- Participate in Capacity Planning
- Execute the annual Disaster Recovery test and analyze results
