Purpose of the role:

Infosys BPM is inviting applications for the role of Senior Consultant to join our Digital Business Services Practice.

Lead the engagement effort at different stages from Problem definition to Diagnosis to Solution design, development and deployment; contribute to organizational initiatives with the objective of providing high-quality and value-adding Consulting solutions to Clients within the guidelines, policies and norms of Infosys.

Educational qualification & Experience

Must Have: MBA / Any Graduate preferably Bachelors in Commerce with good academic record
Good to have but not necessary: Certified in PMP, Agile Prince 2 & Lean Six sigma
Experience: I2P Transformation Consultant with strong domain knowledge, with minimum 10 years of experience

  • 7 – 8 years in E2E Invoice to Pay (I2P) process
  • At least 6 years in BPM industry
  • 5 years experience in Project management (good to have)

Areas of Responsibilities

  • Problem Definition: Participate in discussions to understand and analyze the problems faced by Clients gather data as required from the Client and use knowledge base from other projects /benchmarks, define and document the problem and develop high level solution
  • Collaborate with Client counterparts to define long-term vision, goals, and strategies
  • Contribute to the design and development of Client future processes and organizations with corresponding Transformation Roadmaps
  • Conduct Requirements workshops with a team of Global Business & Technical professional & Subject matter experts, translating those requirements into Actionable Project initiatives with associated Business Metrics
  • Analyze As-Is Processes and craft the optimized To-Be Processes
  • Drive Standardization, Harmonization and Best in class practices for a Global I2P process
  • Ensuring Global Regulatory Compliance with worldwide Invoicing and Tax mandates
  • Identify Continuous Improvement opportunities for transitioning to Best-in-class stage
  • Solving Business problems through innovative & sustainable solutions
  • Identifying Process gaps & Automation opportunities
  • Develop Diagnostic reports, Benchmark reports, Process documents, Fit-gap analysis documentation and Requirements documentation
  • Solution Evaluation and Recommendation: Manage end to end pre-sales activities for Digital capabilities identify opportunity, pitch the right Digital solution, Solution building & Business case creation
  • Anchors the key Internal and External Governance meetings, monitoring adherence within engagement in order to sustain delivery predictability
  • Competitive and market analysis: Creates market competitive intelligence for a sub domain / portfolio and provides inputs and validates gap analysis.
  • Define the solution: Creates a presentation/ thought paper (POV – point of view) describing a proposed solution including the pricing model, operating model and value proposition.
  • Internal / External Branding: Creates collaterals for presentation to internal stakeholders such as sales, other SDI teams, Delivery teams etc. and for the sub domain / portfolio for external stakeholders such as analysts, advisors, webinars, workshops etc. Helps drive strong external awareness for his / her sub domain or portfolio.
  • Understanding Client Business Context: Engages with the client, builds relationships and connects with key client stakeholders; Brings in portfolio and sub domain best practices in a client business context.
  • Develop the customized solution: Review and provide critical inputs for the creation of the customized solution and advices the client on the value proposition of various approaches.
  • RFP Process: Reviews and guides the creation of the RFP response and provides inputs to the pricing committee as well as the solution leads.
  • Contract negotiations: Guides the SD Lead in creating the SOW (Statement of Work), Supports the MSA (Master Service Agreement) creation with the sales team and Business Head
  • Will play the role of a lead Solution Architect or support in pursuits basis the size and complexity of deals. This will mean working with various Solution Design teams and architecting the deal to create winning solutions

Domain & Technical knowledge

  • Domain expert in F&A Invoice to Pay process
  • Hands on experience and delivered at least 2 large scale End to End F&A (I2P) Transformation for global Clients
  • Experience in applying or implementing next-generation technologies such as AI, ML, Intelligent automation, Analytics and process mining to drive business transformations
  • Experience in conducting Design thinking led innovation workshops
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with extensive experience in managing and delivering large scale Transformation project.
  • Action and results-oriented, self-driven person with a high energy level, analytical and structured, quality focused and adaptable.
  • Perform process diagnostics, blueprinting and are savvy with power-point and Excel.
