POSITION DETAILS
I. TEAM MEMBER SOFTWARE:-
a. Responsibilities
i. Develop and approve the SW design workflow in the organization
ii. Build SW architecture
iii. Conduct design reviews, capture and validate requirement
iv. Maintain design standards and methods following V-cycle
v. Support for developing systems towards converting a potential customer into an order.
vi. Work on & suggest agile methods of SW development to cut down the development effort
b. Requirement
i. Embedded C/C++/Java, strong RTOS knowledge
ii. Python knowledge will be appreciated
iii. Good understanding of communication protocols
iv. 16/32 bit microcontroller and peripheral design philosophy
v. Compiler design, concepts of compile, build and link
vi. Low power or battery powered design of analog or digital circuits
vii. Design, develop, code, test and debug system software
viii. MISRA guidelines
ix. Initiate or steer Design reviews in software area
x. Craft modularity and abstraction in software design mapped to SW architecture.
II. TEAM MEMBER HARDWARE:-
a. Responsibilities
i. Develop the HW design workflow in the organization jointly with Head R&D (Electronics)
ii. Responsible for understanding the overall system architecture and accordingly build HW architecture
iii. Conduct design reviews, capture and validate requirement
iv. Maintain design standards, methods and data in version control system
b. Requirement
i. Strong fundamentals in electronics and circuits for ECU design and sensor development
ii. Effective usage of tools ex Multi-meters, Oscilloscope, Debuggers
iii. Soldering experience
iv. Experience of communication protocols starting from SPI, I2C to CAN/LIN/MOST.
v. 16/32 bit microcontroller and peripheral design
vi. ECAD knowledge, Gerber creation
vii. Low power or battery powered design of analog or digital circuits
viii. Documentation of HW design specifications
ix. Ability to read schematic and data sheets of components
x. Hardware troubleshooting/debugging & EMI/EMC testing of components and board design
III. TEAM MEMBER – VALIDATION & VERIFICATION (V&V) :-
a. Responsibilities
i. Quality policies and set direction for SW and HW design team in the organization
ii. Defect tracking and trend analysis
iii. Measure to reduce defects
iv. Ensure that requirements are testable and calibrate requirements accordingly
v. Conduct all Lab and field tests of vehicles for V&V
b. Requirement
i. Embedded C/C++/Java, strong RTOS knowledge
ii. Python knowledge will be appreciated
iii. Good understanding of communication protocols
iv. 16/32 bit microcontroller and peripheral design philosophy
v. Collaboration with other team members (including SW and HW engineers) to define and agree system design, interfaces and protocols
vi. Test Planning, Test case design, Test cases writing, Test case and test results reviews, Defect Logging, Defect Analysis, Regression testing
vii. Able to create Test Cases from the Functional Specifications / Software Requirement Specification document.
viii. Scripting using CAPL or Python, Test automation.
