Job description
Primary Responsibilities:
- Acquire data from various sources internally/externally to the target ecosystem
- Work with business users/other onshore stakeholders, understand requirements and document appropriately
- Understand business requirements, translate into tech specifications, and come up with solution, estimate, and design
- Create and maintain SQL scripts and packages using SSIS
- Design develop and implement Database schema, Tables and Views
- Design, develop and transform the data to load into the data warehouse
- Be able to create complex scripts to align with defined business requirements
- Develop SQL/ETL code per technical specifications and business requirements
- Data modeling using unstructured and structured data
- Develops and maintains documentation as needed
- Performance tuning of EDW and ETL processes
- Work with Architects and review the approach/design/code
- Administration, configuration, and support of the EDW and subject area marts
- Processes security requests for EDW platform
- Follows organization change management and version control procedures
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field of study or equivalent work experience
- 6+ years of Data Integration/ ETL/SQL development experience, preferably in healthcare domain
- In-depth experience working with Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Experience in complex SQL development leveraging analytics functions
- Experience in Star Schema / Dimensional Modeling to support data warehouse environments
- Prior experience in EDW administration/support
- Experience in optimizing complex SQL/ETL processes
Preferred Qualification:
- Experience using any reporting tool preferably, Qlikview.
