Job Description
Software System Designer
- Responsible for Change Request Management in the customer project
- Responsible for System and SW requirements analysis, internal request of System and SW components, putting into operation and requirements based test of new systems
- Handles and tracks Change Requests
- Coordinates Change Requests between customer project, customer platform and function development
- Registers, analyzes and agrees on Customer Requests
- Develops and analyzes the impact of ECU System Requirements, System Functionality Requirements and Software Requirements, in collaboration with the system architect.
- Review of requirements or architectural design elements and related verification criteria in order to ensure test ability
- Develop Test Cases based on the requirements or architectural design elements and related verification criteria
- Execute and document the SW- and System tets and verify the results
- Review of Test Automation Scripts
Qualifications
Engineering degree in Electronics
5 plus yrs of experience in Automotive software development, preferably in PowerTrain/Engine management domain
- Good knowledge of the SW development – Process, Methods & Tools
- Expertise in Embedded C programming
- Knowledge on automotive communication protocols like CAN, Flex Ray and etc.
- Experience in requirement analysis, design, implementation and testing of automotive SW
- Hands-on experience in use of development tools like Compiler, Emulator, Debugger, CANAlyzer, HIL and etc.
- Knowledge on automotive electronics, with good overview on sensors and actuators
- Experience in RTOS and AUTOSAR
- Knowledge about FMEA , Matlab, Rhapsody is an added advantage
- Exposure to vehicle testing and closed loop lab cars
- Good know-how about ECU ( Electronic Control units ) -HW and other HW equipments including closed loop labs ( HIL )
- Good communication skills, self-motivated and initiative to work in unclear environment.
- Should be able to motivate young people in the team Should take initiative and responsibility
