Walkin Interview for the post of Quality Engineer at Thermax Limited
Experience : 1 years to 5 years
Qualifications: Diploma / BE (Electrical and Instrumentation)
Date : 5th and 6th Dece[mber’2022
Time : 10 am to 3 pm

Roles and Responsibilities :
1. Inspection of Control Panel at Supplier, logic testing, Panel power up testing at factory after Panel and instruments are wired.
2. Inspection of all field instruments/ motors/ MCC/ VFD/ other electrical items, etc. wrt data sheets / specifications & P&ID
3. Checking of detailed specifications for PLC based control as per P&ID meeting contract / process requirements
4. Preparation of checklists, FAT procedure as per requirement.
5. Inspection of Instrument hook up, cable/cable tray layouts / JB – Instrument location.
6. Checking of Control Schemes Narratives; Checking of Software for Siemens & AB PLC with engineering Desired.
7. Review of vendor documents for all the Instrumentation & Electrical items
8. Understanding instrumentation & electrical item list / tender requirements
9. Support to Engineering / Service as and when required.
10. Approval and audit of Electrical component Supplier.
11. Handling of CE/ETL approvals, QMS etc.
12. Flexible to work in shifts
Desired Candidate Profile :
1. Knowledge of Basic Instrumentation Engineering of Pressure , Temperature , Flow Level , Valves
2. Knowledge on Siemens TIA and Comfort software packages
3. Basic Knowledge of control scheme / logic diagrams / PLC / Electrical items like Motors , MCC panel is essential
4. Knowledge of Hazardous area instrumentation
5. Visits to customer/ consultant/ vendor places as & when required
6. Quality Systems
7. Hands on Microsoft Excel, Word
8. ERP knowledge (Desired)
